Black And White Double Page Spreads

I looked at some black and white double page spreads, with a colour aswell, to get some ideas about my finial design. I prefer the first of these two as it is simpler and I think makes more of a statement however, I do like how there are a few more images included on the second one. I like the colours used with the black and white and also think a colour image could look effective.
