I edited the front cover image using the 'convert to black and white tool' on photoshop. I chose not to add any of the extra 'contrast' options that are provided so that the image doesn't look to dark or too light and the quality might be affected. I am happy with th over all effect because the image is still clear quality and will look effective on my front cover.
