Fonts......

I have looked at some of the fonts that are available on DaFonts website, and chose a few of the style fonts that I would consider using in my magazine. I have tried to choose a range of fonts so that I can look at variety when it comes to deciding on the final font. I think it is important that I have a font that represents the audience of my magazine so I need to make sure that the font is not what could come across as too feminine or masculine.
After looking at these font I think that the font 'Throw my hands up in the air' is a simple, casual font that would suit the ideas that I have for my magazine cover. However, I think that 'J.D Handcrafted' font is also simple and I like this one too. Also, I think that this ofnt is different from any font magazines at the minute.
Also, I think 'Ba Wet Paint' would be appropriate to use for the masthead on my magazine. Also, I think this would suit both of my target audience genders better as 'Throw my hands up in the air' might be seen as a bit feminine.
I also really like iArnold for a front cover font. I think it is simple but isnt to simple for it too look out of place on a magazine cover.
I think that the 'Zaken' fotn probably isn't appropriate for my front cover because I want a simple look and this is quite a bold font. However I like the style of it and I think that it would be more appropriate for my contents page or double page spread, so I will keep this font in mind when I start to develop these pages.
